I think ive watched the trailer 10+ times. I love the show. Ivr always loved egyptian mythology so seeing moon knight brought into the mcu was so exciting for me before they even released the trailer.

After watching the first episode I’ve noticed that most of this was what took place in episode 1. Absolutely loved it so far and looking forward to the rest of the episodes with just the few shots that weren’t in that first episode.

Probably the best thing from Marvel for years.
I loved the first 5 episodes of moonknight but the finale was a bit of a letdown tbh.
Only got two episodes into Loki so can't comment on it. Parts I did see were pretty good though.

Edit 2: episode 6 got me exited and blew my mind and I say it’s my favourite marvel Disney plus series so far just behind Loki hears to season 2

ONE OF THE FINEST SHOWS FROM MARVEL! Episode 4,5 and 6 really took the season to another level! And oh, Our Marc and Steven! Didn’t know we would love their brotherhood as the season gets closer to the end! Loved the season 1.

I watched this whole series and it’s absolute gold. When I started watching it it messed a whole lot with my brain, but once I kept watching it I started to understand better what’s happening. I love how MCU just keeps on going with their movies, more than 15 years. Their movies and series never fail me.

Loved looking back at the trailer after watching the series. It’s cool to see what was different eg: “unknown caller” with an alligator photo (laters gaters?) on the phone, instead of Layla and and a blank background. Also, this is such a well-made trailer, and it gets me excited for the series all over again even though I’ve seen the whole thing.
As one of the 0.001% of humanity who has actually read Moon Knight comics in their life time... I really like this show. I love how they went completely nuts with it.

@Banished knight Oleg The point is that people learn different things at different times, doesn't make them any less of a fan of something. Some people grow up on DC then later get into Marvel and love it. I collected x-men and x-men was all I knew when I was a child or 5, until crossovers happened in the comics I was reading. Spiderman didn't crossover into the comics I was reading until I was 6... and so on. Of course... the internet (which didn't exist when I was a child) does open up the world quite a bit for new fans. But just saying... it's not cool to look down or bully people who didn't know about a particular villian/superhero/etc because everyone is on their world learning journey at different times. Gatekeeping is obnoxious

@Zeek Escamilla moon knight is a ripoff of Batman. Literally every character in marvel or DC is a ripoff of the other companies character. Deadpool Wade Wilson is a ripoff of Deathstroke Slade Wilson. Captain Marvel Carol Danvers is a ripoff of Supergirl Kara Danvers.

After watching the show, i can comfortably say its in my top 10 marvel movies/shows. Its a masterpeice that will probably never be topped by another show
The show has already surpassed all my expectations and alleviated all my concerns with just episode one. Growing up, Iron Fist, Powerman and Moon Knight were MY trinity. Having been utterly disappointed with the other two I was truly skeptical about this. No more. Best thing Marvel's done since casting RDJ as Stark.

Ep 5 was an emotional roller coaster
Just watched the first episode. I wasn't very interested after the way the last couple of Marvel shows were handled. Spoiler alert.... It was fantastic! The music is top notch. You picked a great lead actor for this character. The mystery is fun. The visuals (the mirrors in particular) are great!

This show was bloody awesome. Oscar Isaac was the perfect casting for Moon Knight and May Callaway as Layla turned out to be a surprise package. Ethan Hawke was really good too.

Seeing as Dr Strange 2 will be the first MCU Horror, this looks incredible with the shows they have planned. Tense, Dark and Action. Really looking forward to MCU 2022. This will be a big show.
With Disney is not going to be that 'horror' it still need to be lite. Limitation compare to WB DC series. Even for animated movie, Dark justice league, it's still dark.

If you came here for a typical superhero story, you’re going to be disappointed. It’s that simple.
The main character suffers from mental illness. That’s not a fault of the show, it’s a highlight.
THANK YOU for finally saying this! Holy cow, these people. "Not enough punchy punchy." Yeah, great eye candy and then the DID becomes a cheap gimmic and we don't care at all about the alters. I am struggling now with watching other Marvel content because I feel nothing else will have the depth and raw emotion as this show.
I love how in the show they decided to start it with Steven's perspective insteaad of the hosts (like in the comics) It was a cool change in pace.

Good trailer, effective use of conveying the narrative and central theme of the story (insomnia/possible schizophrenia).
Not showing too much of anything important just enough to tease us and get us invested.
Ethan Hawke as the villain opens up a can of interesting prospects but I’m happy that Issac gets a chance at redemption.
Most of y’all frown at his portrayal as Apocalypse but I’m in the minority when I say I liked his portrayal. It’s not a great performance nor was that film a great X-men movie but Issac is a great character actor.
Therefore I’m really looking forward to what he brings to the table with this now that he’s returned the world of superheroes and comicbook characters courtesy of Marvel entertainment. This going be good.

But yes it seems young Avengers is the current one happening soon. As well as these darker shows like moon knight and blade possibly become a midnight sons.

There is such a potential in this character. It has all the great elements: mysticism, vigilantism, psychology, noir film aesthetics. In the hands of good writers, this character might turn out GOLD on the big screen. Also, I really dig the "mummy" inspiration in his MCU costume.

Obviously, no Studio is going to have a 10 for 10. Never expected or insinuated that. But again, my current opinion is based on past and current criteria. NWH a side. Everything else has been quite meh after Endgame. For various reason. ""As of 2021 they had the highest grossing movies of the year" - Yes. That film was NWH. Marvel and Sony. You may likely follow up with something like "Well Shang-Chi was the 2nd highest and that is only Marvel". Who cares? In mine and many others opinions (say whatever you want about margins blah blah), the Marvel TV shows have not been all that. Again, not writing them all off entirely (so chill you cotton socks). I can see we do agree somewhere, that is - Kate Bishop being able to take on King Pin and get back up. Look, you can get anxy all you like and feel the need to come back round on your high horse. Feel free.
