When she tells her story you can tell she really uses her humor as a coping mechanism. They usually say that comedians have the most painful lives. She's so gorgeous and really funny. After everything she's been through, she deserves everything. Everything.

Guys in the back: "You're crazy, Tiffany.."
Tiffany: "I'm not crazy! I'm just not afraid to speak on it.."
SOOO spot on. I love how this woman speaks her truth and isn't trying to impress anyone. She's just being totally authentic to who she is, while turning even the darkest memories into comedy. Now, THAT'S admirable.

the way she kept saying she wasn't doing a good enough job raising her siblings and cleaning the house broke my heart. Like she's a grown woman and still doesn't realize that's not the responsibility of a child to maintain the household.

I'm so, SO 'SORRY' that you had to go through ALL of that in your life with your sisters though, Sarah.
So, I'm NO expert on things, but there are a few things that I 'WILL' comment on, and that is that I can TELL that you are very, VERY 'PROUD' of the degrees your sisters have received, and as far as your youngest sister goes, KEEP trying your BEST to SHOW her 💗💗 'LOVE', because with family, there is 'ONLY' one of THAT person.
And when THAT person dies, that's IT.
      The are NOT coming back.
On this Earth there is ONLY 'ONE' of EACH individual. That's HOW Our 🕊🕊✝️✝️Heavenly Father God made us.
Once we are GONE, we are GONE.
Until of course, when Our 🕊🕊✝️✝️ LORD, Jesus Christ, and Our Heavenly Father God makes the 'NEW' Heaven here on Earth like it says in Revelations in
      The 📖📖 Bible.
But until THEN, once we die, we are NOT returning BACK to Earth.
We have GONE ON to be with Our HEAVENLY FATHER GOD.
So, Our🕊🕊✝️✝️LORD, Jesus Christ says that we should 💗💗 'LOVE' one another as ourselves.
But, Our 🕊🕊✝️✝️ LORD, Jesus Christ ALSO says that we are NOT to let ANYONE take ADVANTAGE of Us EITHER.
So, CONTINUE to 💗💗 'LOVE' and be KIND to ALL of your siblings INCLUDING your baby sister, but do NOT let ANYONE nor your baby sister take ADVANTAGE of you or Ridicule, Embarrass, or be Rude, or Mean to you.
You be FIRM, but Comforting in a NICE way, but STILL 'STAND' your Ground!!
And also you've DONE an EXCELLENT job in raising and nurturing your siblings.
But, NOW it is TIME for YOU to get OUT there fulfill some of YOUR 'DREAMS', NO MATTER how old you are TOO.
Because I have NOT heard in your comments about what you ENJOY doing??
It's TIME for YOU to have FUN, be FREE, Live YOUR Life, and DO some things that you have ALWAYS wanted to DO!!
      So, get STARTED!!
And by the way, I'm the youngest sibling, TOO, and I've made a LOT of mistakes TOO in my Life, and I so WISHED that I had of LISTENED to my family AND friends, TOO.
I have MANY regrets in my 'Life', as well.
But, I 'humbly' 🙏🏾🙏🏾PRAY for SUCCESS in whatever it is that you 'Sarah' want to explore, experience, and accomplish, in Our LORD, 🕊🕊✝️✝️ Jesus NAME.
      Take CARE, Sarah.
And if you HAVEN'T already, then GO OUT there and experience, explore, and 'LIVE' your Life.
And if you ARE 'ENJOYING' Life, as well as NEW experiences, then get to KNOW The
🕊🕊✝️✝️LORD, Jesus Christ 'MORE', TOO then.
      Take CARE, Sarah!!

As a former social worker that honestly got burned out of the profession after 5 years, I can attest her story is very common for foster kids... Very very rough life... But where I give her more credit than I’ve ever given anybody is that she overcame! Not only that, she surpassed thousands of other talented/gifted individuals that were either flat out given their success or were set up to do so. She knew she had the skills to make it, and just TOOK her success! She didn’t wait for the “right” opportunity! She made her opportunities! No doubt she had to sell out somewhat to get where she is, but to even get to that phase you’ve got to get noticed. She did all this practically by herself.... Very very commendable. You can’t fake talent, nor deny it when you see it! Those that slept on her and didn’t pull the trigger on giving her a contract of any type for her talent got to be kicking themselves! She was born in 79’ so trust me there has been many chances for them to do so!

KishKishBish I’m not a social worker, but I work for an education nonprofit. I would recommend ongoing learning about topics like trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, trust-based relational intervention (TBRI). Trauma-Informed Care will help you understand how trauma can affect behavior and how to support someone who has experienced trauma. Motivational Interviewing will teach you techniques for communication, asking questions, etc. TBRI would help with intervening in high stress situations and de escalate. I would also recommend becoming informed about types of abuse, such as child abuse, human trafficking, etc and how to identify signs, effects, and how to be a supportive parent. If you are working with a nonprofit, they may offer these types of training. If not, I would urge you to contact social service agencies, particularly ones offering mental health support or even social work schools to find out where you can attend such trainings. Best wishes to you, b/c the world needs good foster parents!

A lot of people might call her crazy (like DJ Envy did), but I felt her on her story about a picture coming to life. That was amazing. You can’t tell everyone that because people will think you’re insane, I commend her so much for doing that w/o giving a damn.

  • Adalina S.

That part when she was talking about the teddy bears playing with her and her sister, that stuff is real man. I’ve never experienced it myself but I’ve raised two kids and worked in child care for 20+ years. Kids have “imaginary” friends but they are sooo real. As an adult if you ever watched a child sit and talk to one it’s not like pretend play. They are fully talking to someone adults can’t see. I feel it’s because children are tapped into the a different setting that we lose as we get older. It’s fascinating, a little scary, and also beautiful to know it exists. So them saying she was crazy for second, uh-uh. It’s not just make-believe. I believe every word she said about that story is real. They’re like guardian angels on a child’s level.

I respect her so much because she wouldn't even sell her body for a roof over her head. Inspiring because in this world it is so easy to sell, not only your body, but your soul for a hope of a better life or opportunity. I'm glad I finally watched this because I'm at a dark spot in my life but she proves everything you go through helps shape you into the person you're supposed to be. Had she not been through any of these situations we would have never known Tiff Haddish. My favorite interview on this show by far✨
Side note: black people, we gotta do better with how we handle mental illness within our communities. This shit is real. And I hope God surrounds her with positive uplifting energy to continue to help her heal from all those years of abuse and pain. Much love💕✨

I can tell that she blames herself a little for not doing more....at 9 years old. I know that pain going through your life and holding yourself accountable in a space where the grown ups are suppose to be the protectors. She said at 20:57 that she wasn't the best housekeeper. Like her "keeping the house clean" so her family could be intact was her fault. I sense that in her because I do that to myself when I look back on the things I could have done. I use to want to meet women like Oprah and Michelle Obama and the like but now I'm like....give me a blunt and 20 mins with tiffinay haddish and that might change a girls life. Lol

People think post traumatic stress belongs only to soldiers. Like soldiers, our culture needs help in our deep-rooted traumas that occurred in our lives. I'm glad she's currently successful, but as all of these rockstars who've recently committed suicide, I hope she surrounds herself with people who help her throughout her career. So many of us can use more help than we ask for.

I think sometimes to make it in life you have to laugh when you really want to cry. Seems like she knows this all too well. I love how positive her humor and energy are! She is charming, raw and warm at the same time. Somehow she makes you laugh while sharing the saddest memories. Can’t believe she got in and out of Scientology like that! Wow! Love this lady!

Richard Pryor shout out to a classic great coach. Tiffany’s so transparent ❤️👍👌💕🙏🥥😀

Wow. I truly don't know where to start I believe I will start, telling Tiffany Haddish: I'm sorry. Because I first thought she was pushing So HARD to be funny, to be an actor, to be in movies and shows, the whole nine. Now it ALL make sense.
Her story is so powerful and strong that it can help, heal a lot people out there whose in the same situation that she was in. If you put it in a book, Tiffany, I Definitely will buy the book.
    Once again, I'm sorry.

My life as a teenager, in the garbage.
But after you hear what she’s been through, let’s just say I thank God every day since I heard her story.
I don't think any of us heard a story harder than that.
Each time her life brought her to the limit, they became worse.
In such situations there are two options, one is to commit suicide, two to survive.
And if you survive what she went through, you become the most powerful human being in the world. And that is a fact, because she got where she came today without a dollar.

It's so crazy she has my same story at 8 years old my mother had a car accident that she flew out the windshield of the back of the vehicle, she broke 8 ribs her ribs went inside her lungs, her lungs collapsed her whole left side of her body was paralyzed she had a blood clot in her brain that had to be removed. I had to teach her how to walk talk eat everything again. I still remember when she was learning how to walk, I use to laugh cause she would walk like a penguin. I will never forget the moment my life changed. Glory to God my mom is amazing and rehabilitated & I thank the Lord

Wow, I laughed, nearly cried and everything in between (got really squeamish with her tampon/uterus stories) but man, do I feel humbled and emotional. Her story is a true roller-coaster ride, but as others pointed out, she overcame and most people wouldn't make it past that first uphill climb. I hate to quote her awful ex-stepfather, but she was seriously meant to live. I love how C defends her and Azaelia Banks when it comes to "crazy." He seems to treat his job as an opportunity for empathy instead of trolling in recent years.
