I was reminded of this Fuchsia OS in high school maybe in 1990 or 1991 when Americans or foreigners went to me again to perhaps convince me to sing or re-record Bread and America bands' songs again since i am the official voice in these bands, and in Nirvana and some songs of Queen and Scorpions, and in many other songs. Anyways, this Fuchsia OS must had been created under my lead in the late 1970s to early 80s when i was a prodigious child. I don't know why they reminded me of it in high school, but maybe they're gathering evidence of my influence on its creation. But then again, maybe just the core idea of Fuchsia OS; it must have been heavily upgraded by now. One thing is clear: i didn't earn huge (million$) when i re-recorded the songs that led to "The Very Best of Bread 1991" album, which i reckon i already finished in grade school in the 1980s in Masbate, Philippines. I was clearly abused and exploited. Another steal by what i call the Hollywood "mafia" or syndicate.
Oh yes, i was supposed to co-found and co-own Yahoo, Google, and Facebook at their official startup dates, even Spotify and Netflix. I should have been hopping from tech company to tech company, and be one of the world's top billionaires.

I think it's all about taking more control over the users as google does. And more importantly will it provide better privacy control than android?? I don't think its going to happen.

Why not write new userland and use Linux kernel? Linux already can run on everything, is secure and it's not from Google (let's implement spying on 0-ring hehe).
And on spying, Android GApps are already spying A LOT. Imagine GApps integrated into Fushia deeply... Aaaand... It's on everything. So you buy fridge and you must "root" (bc it's not Linux, this procedure won't be called rooting) it ASAP and remove GApps... Voiding warranty of frickin' FRIDGE.
You told about the SDK - Flutter. What if I don't use it? I prefer Android Studio. What now? Most apps are written in it.
Also, I don't like how Fushias look. Everything is a list? No, thanks.

Sounds like android will be made better with a different name, I say ok because it's not android and works perfectly with anything android ok solves why I turned my back alot on Microsoft because not once have I bought a pc and had no problems with drivers and operating system or a license go out of date or something always trying to push the bill or you not having a pc that works, talk about scam and breaking the bank let alone trust , android has rarely let me down and a thousand dollar phone once to work for is worth the suffering compared to a pc that brakes after a year or so and leaving you in the ocean with no money and a empty boat as well as no phablet since nobody has a plane phone anymore. I honestly think people will love a better interface to vr and everything we already use at home , business or most of us in are moving lives on the go. Because honestly every company has failed to integrate and fighting to be first. This new os with the right device will get everyone's attention because every one buys something like it already and shops for the efficiency of a product like this new os , that's why everyone loves android. So far more then one app usage at the same time sounds perfect,,,,,,,,

not worried we need better modern operating system build to what we are dealing with today. not keep iterating fragile things build in the 70's. we know much better that the people from the 70 now. maybe not much better but we are completely different scenario than they could have ever imagined.
so if google has the money to do it, i'm ok with it just going off on what they did when they created a new browser.

No one can only build mobile OS, you have to eventually go for computer and everything especially computers. Android is bad for even tablets, a OS which was envisaged for digital cameras can't be suitable for computers. iOS can run on computers in few years but android can't and Google knows it. They have to build a new OS which can work on computers and tablets too with other form factors too; otherwise Android has to die if it remains mobile OS. For future replacing Android is must.
However last information about its release, says just experiment. However I don't think so.
We are going to move from x86_64 to ARM and also universal OS; that means Google has to fight for consumer computers if not enterprise with Microsoft.

Technically Android problems stems from the fact that google products and Android device drivers are proprietary while both linux and the base Android is are open source
If both were to be open source everything would be more integrated
-Especially if they freaking mainlined the kernel lol-

Fusiha is going to be just a kernel swap not Android kernel. Which they can get away from Oracle. It won't look any different than Android, it will be under the surface change. Project mainline and treble is a precursor of that fusiha is going to be for us. UI won't change since Google is focusing alot on changing it. And I think they are changing it slowly to what will run on fushia kernel without a problem

The majority of what you said in this video is incorrect. Pretty much the only thing that you got right was the planned obsolescence from handset manufacturers. Having a common kernel doesn't necessarily make handing over an audio stream any easier. That's the job of much higher level systems. The kernel just provides low level APIs for hardware, I/O, and security. The main advantage of a new device specific kernel would be something like tighter security or better battery management. But the fact that this kernel will supposedly run on "everything", including fridges and streetlights, basically precludes all those device-specific benefits.

Fuchsia OS as a list on Smartphones? Naaah. If they do that it will fail harder than windows phone. Nothing says good User Experience like an endless list where you have to scroll for every app, and that looks like a web page made by a kid for his IT class assignment.
