Yo can also set up on a Smith machine with the bar starting on your chest. Also the 1 1/2 rep variation for dumbell and barbell chest press will help increase the amount you chest press by getting rid of the eccentric stretch that help with the concentric movement in the repetition.

I've been doing IF for over 2 years now. First of all, my office is half a mile from where I live, I can walk there. Second thing is that I'm single I get to sleep a lot and I don't have to sync my meals with other people. How has it been so far? Well my alcoholic fatty liver is gone (I don't drink anymore), my enzymes are in the normal range now. I am very lean, I have the best muscle definition in the gym. BUT, you're going to gain muscle mass much slower, but you will gain muscle mass nonetheless. I recently began eating a shit ton of meat and eggs and went from going to gym twice a week to 3 days a week, I'll see if it improves. IS IT HARD? 2+ years in, it's normal life, I'm almost never hungry, I don't crave anything. I have more stamina in the gym, I can lift heavier, my sizes are going up, but for some reason my weight change is minimal. Do I feel like I can keep it up for another 2 years? It's normal life, I don't feel like I'm on a diet, my doctor is impressed with my blood work and I feel pretty good. I will stop if things begin to look weird in my blood tests or start feeling bad. Oh by the way, my joint pains are gone, like they were never there. At some point I had to stop playing the guitar due to pain in my fingers. Now I use my fingers like crowbars, I lift stuff that weight more than myself, ZERO joint pain. My eye floaters are also gone. I will continue IF, I look badass, I want to keep this body that I have now.

He's not saying intermediate fasting is a fad, he is saying that if you can't stick with it long term then it is a fad. So by all means if you can fast everyday for the next 20,30,40 or 50 or so years and you feel happier and get the results you want doing it. Then go ahead.
