Azerbaijan make its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. The country is represented by Elnur & Samir, performing their song Day After Day. Friday May 16, 2008 the Azerbaijan delegation organized a big open-air festival in Belgrades park Kalemegdan. Elnur & Samir performed, together with Ruslana (Ukraine 2004), Dana International (Israel 1998), Marija Serifovic (Serbia 2007) and Zeljko Joksimovic (Serbia 2004).
