A new addition to the Animation Pavilion inside Disneys California Adventure, the Toy Story (II) Zoetrope illustrates how animation works, but on a grand scale. This features a series of spinning discs, each with a different 3-D animation (parachuting army men, Jessie spinning a rope, Buzz walking on a ball, Woody riding Bullseye, Wheezy and and LGM jumping on a see-saw, and an LGM waving. Be aware that the animation effect occurs because the spinning of the wheels is timed with a strobe light.
